Lauren Mendez, L.Ac., NC is a CA and CO licensed acupuncturist and holds her national diploma in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through NCCAOM.  She is a holistic nutrition consultant and is overall passionate about natural medicine. She specializes in treating sports and orthopedic related injuries and chronic pain with acupuncture. Trigger point needling, dry needling, cupping therapy, moxibustion and electrical stimulation are among the modalities she employs to restore function and mobility and to reduce pain. Lauren’s post graduate training includes Integrative Acupuncture Orthopedics and Acupuncture Sports Medicine with Anthony Von der Muhll, L.Ac and Whitfield Reaves, L.Ac. She is also Dry Needling-I certified through Myopain Seminars and has sparked her interest in neuro-acupuncture studying with Michael Corradino, L.Ac. Her techniques utilize precision anatomical needling, offering a side-effect free option to help resolve chronic pain and injuries.
